Recently, we were delighted to welcome Space 4 Autism, a local Macclesfield-based charity, to speak with our Parent Connect Group—a group for parents and carers of children with special educational needs. The team from Space 4 Autism shared valuable information about the wide range of support they offer to both children and families in our area.
If you were unable to attend, we strongly encourage you to get in touch with Space 4 Autism directly to find out more about the parenting support, workshops, social activities, and advice they provide. Their work is an incredible local resource for families navigating neurodiversity.
During the session, they also shared a powerful and moving video that offers a glimpse into what life can be like for a child with autism. It left a deep impression on the parents who attended, and we felt it was important to share this insight with our whole school community.

If you feel it’s appropriate, we encourage you to watch it with your children and open up a conversation about autism and inclusion. By understanding each other better, we can continue to grow as a caring and inclusive school community.
We can provide paper copies of any information free of charge upon request.
