Headteachers' Welcome...

It is our pleasure to give you a warm welcome to Prestbury Church of England Primary School. We have a fantastic staff team, supportive parents, strong community links, including with St. Peter’s Church, and above all, great children who are a joy to be with.

As Co-Heads it is a joy and privilege to serve and be part of such a special school community. As parents ourselves, we know how important choosing the right school for your child is – each child is unique, with different gifts, talents and personality. We are so pleased that as well as strong academic outcomes, with results significantly above national and in the highest 20% of all schools nationally, we focus on the whole child, with the school graded Outstanding for Personal Development in our most recent Ofsted report. Working in partnership with our families, Prestbury CE Primary school is a place where each child is able to flourish.

You are very welcome to book a visit so that you can see all that is taking place in our school.

Year 1 have really enjoyed music this half term. We have been learning about different songs from ...around the UK. We created our own compositions inspired by the sounds of the coast, city or countryside and performed them to each other this afternoon! 🎵 🎶 🎼

We loved showcasing our gardening and nature projects and achievements to the Prestbury in Bloom ...team and judge. Thank you to the amazing children involved who spoke about recycling, planting, pollinators and wildlife. 🌸🌻🌞🌺🌷🌹🦋

Year 1 have been thinking a lot this half term about how we can be helpful to our planet 🌏. We ...made seed bombs and then wrote instructions for other people to do the same. This morning, we put our seed bombs in the wild area. 🌸 🌻

The reflection garden is coming to life with colour popping! Cornflowers, honeysuckle and scabious!... The children love learning their names. We have bees and butterflies 🐝🦋 we are letting the caterpillars munch our greens to learn about the life cycle of the eggs to butterfly!
