We are looking for enthusiastic Midday Assistants to join our team and help us to make lunchtimes fun, rewarding and successful breaks for the children in our care.
This is a role that suits parents and grandparents looking for something to break up the day and perhaps to gain an insight into working in education.

We very much appreciate the ‘extra pair of hands’ that a helping parent/adult is able to provide. Help is appreciated with a whole range of activities – cooking, hearing children read, support in the class with a practical activity etc.
In line with our child protection procedures, we do require all adults who help out in the school to complete a DBS check and provide one reference (this could be a character reference if easier).
The school follows the Prevent Duty to prevent extremism and radicalisation. We also ask adults helping out in school to sign a code of conduct – this makes it clear both for the school and volunteers what is expected.

Attached below you will find our Adults Helper Policy and Agreement. Please bring these completed forms in to the school office with your DBS ID. Once your DBS is approved, you will be ready to start.
