SIAMS

The school has a record of consistently high standards, reflecting the hard work by children, staff and the whole school community. We are pleased that Prestbury CE Primary School is living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish.

It has the following notable strengths.

  • The Christian vision, with its strong biblical roots, is clearly articulated and understood by leaders, pupils and adults. The vision underpins school life at every level. It enables pupils and adults to flourish.
  • Collective worship provides calm and reflective opportunities for spiritual growth. Pupils and adults value the opportunity to come together at this special time of day. The school’s ‘four windows’ of spiritual awareness allow pupils and adults to reflect and wonder about their experience.
  • Through its vision and values, leaders work tirelessly to ensure that pupils and adults are known, nurtured, inspired and included. This results in them feeling safe, confident and enabled to thrive in relationships and learning.
  • The provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) ensures that they can access learning effectively. As a result, they feel highly valued and included.
  • The school’s Christian vision underpins a culture of justice and responsibility. Local issues are courageously explored, empowering pupils to make ethical choices and challenge injustice.

The report highlights, ‘Prestbury Church of England Primary School is a highly inclusive and welcoming Church school.
