I have been working at Prestbury Primary School as a Teaching Assistant since 2015 and thoroughly enjoy supporting all aspects of our pupils’ progress as well as their social and emotional development.
My professional background was originally as a linguist, having studied French and German at Lancaster as an undergraduate and then at Bradford as a postgraduate. I went on to live and work in Paris and then Frankfurt as a technical and financial translator, editor and proof-reader. After 14 years, it was time to come home to Cheshire and I enrolled at university in Liverpool as a student teacher and gained my PGCE, specialising in primary modern foreign languages.
I love sharing my passion for languages and other cultures with the children in LKS2. I now live in Tytherington with my husband, our son and our dog.
