Reg Lord

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession but was an academic, with over 30+ years’ experience of Higher and Primary Education. I retired as Head of Directorate in a University Business School in 2013. I have been a Foundation Governor at Prestbury since 2015. My eldest grandson and youngest granddaughter both attend or have attended Prestbury.

 I see my role as Foundation Governor being important to both enhancing the School ethos and the children’s overall educational experience whilst at Prestbury. I enjoy my role on the Personnel & Curriculum Committee, Full Governing Board and Foundation Committees.

My interests include golf, football (supporting only these days), tennis and cruising (when able!!).

I have been an active Rotarian for over 30 years and believe very much in communities and supporting the most vulnerable in our society. I have also been a local Town Crier for the past 20 years.
