It is my privilege to be headteacher of a great school… great children, staff and parents. I have now been in teaching for 32 years and Head at Prestbury CE Primary for over 16 years. I have been at this school longer than all of my previous schools combined and love my job.
Being with the children and staff are the highlights of my day. One of the joys of my job is seeing each child’s journey through the school from Nursery / Reception to Year 6… I particularly enjoy story time with the Reception classes each week, through to the PGL residential with Year 6, and lots more in between.
I have four children and know the responsibilities, but also the incredible joys, of being a parent. We also have our dog, Harvey, who ensures we get out for walks – probably my favourite thing to do to relax (as well as reading a good book).Â
