I am a local mum of 3 (and step-mother to 2 more!) children, ranging from 40-14! My eldest is at Newcastle University, studying Medicine and my younger 2 are at Fallibroome, doing GCSE’s and A’Levels.
In a previous life, I ran a sales team in a merchant bank in London but retrained as a teacher when I married my husband Norman and moved to Cheshire. All 3 of my children came to Prestbury CE Primary School which is how I started working at the school – by the time my youngest was in Reception, I wanted to return to teaching. I have taught in various classes but love the reward of the Year 1’s starting their learning journey.
I live in Tytherington and really enjoy walking with my friends and my black labrador, Buster.
I have grown up around the world which has fed into my love of travel and holidays. My childhood also provides many interesting anecdotes for my class, a great reference for history and diversity!
