Liz O’Keefe

Being a Yorkshire girl, born and bred, I moved to the other side of the Pennines with my husband’s job over 25 years ago. I was lucky enough to get a job at Prestbury School and I’ve taught here ever since!

I enjoy reading. My idea of bliss is sitting on the beach, reading a good book whilst listening to the waves lapping the shore. I adore the seaside and have been known to wade up to my ankles when the urge takes me! I love to travel and, in my youth, spent a year backpacking around the world.

I’ve taught all my working life and see it as a real privilege. Each day is different, with its own unique set of challenges and rewards. One thing about teaching is, you never get bored.

Let your light shine that people may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven
